NIVA has used the Nautilos Citizen Science activities on microplastics as an example during the first of a three-workshop series of National workshops for the Norwegian Research Council for the ‘Reflab’ project. The use of the Nautilos smartphone scanner on cruise expedition ships, high school students and within the Plastic Pirates project was highlighted on the first workshop which took place the 21th of March 2024.
