This is the NAUTILOS model portal. It shows the simulated distribution of different variables, obtained from various operational models used within NAUTILOS to perform Observing System Simulation Experiments (OSSEs). The interface shows an interactive explorable map where operational hydrodynamic results and forecasts for the Mediterranean, the SW Iberian coast of the Atlantic and the North Sea (Hardangerfjord) can be selected for visualisation. Biogeochemical and plastics dispersion model results produced within the OSSE experiments can also be explored.

Users can show the model by activating the available layers through the Layers Controller placed in the top right-hand corner of the map (when hovering on it, it shows the available layers that can be selected and displayed on the map). Details on simulations can then be visualised through the interface in the bottom left corner of the map.
