The European BlueNIGHTs project, coordinated by CNR-ISMAR, was honored on 31/5/2024 during the European Maritime Day Conference 2024 in Svendborg, Denmark, as the winner of the MakeEUBlue Awards 2024 in the Sky Blue category. The aim of the project was to organize in 17 cities at different European Marine Regions in Finland, France, Italy, Malta, Portugal and Romania a series of interconnected events (and pre-events) to celebrate the European Night of Researchers editions 2022 and 2023. Several activities included in the BlueNIGHTs project were performed in collaboration with NAUTILOS.
