We are thrilled to announce that our partner, ETT, successfully deployed the Aquatec Group’s passive acoustic sensor on the MEDA buoy in the Portofino marine mammal sanctuary. This marks a significant step forward for ocean conservation efforts, particularly in monitoring marine mammals.

The sensor remained submerged until the end of August 2024. This innovative sensor, tested on the buoy, is designed to capture acoustic data that will provide critical insights into the behavior and presence of marine mammals in the sanctuary.

This deployment is a vital part of our ongoing mission to support ocean conservation and further our understanding of marine ecosystems. Stay tuned for updates on this exciting initiative!
