NAUTILOS in the 1st Integrated Marine Debris Observing System initiative

Dr Giuseppe Suaria from CNR-ISMAR participated in the 1^st Integrated Marine Debris Observing System (IMDOS) initiative which was held in Paris on January 8^th 2025. IMDOS aims to support the development of a comprehensive global system to monitor marine debris, responding to the strong demand expressed by the research community, policy- and decision-making bodies, and the private sector. IMDOS is an initiative of GEO Blue Planet’s marine litter working group, in collaboration with GOOS and UNEP.
